There is a small grocery shop and two tavernas offering home cooked traditional dishes. The nearby larger villages of Vamos and Kalives offer a wide range of facilities and amenities.

There is a small cove (swimming) and taverna set on the water's edge nearby at Ombrogialos. The beautiful sandy beaches of Almirida and Kalives are only a short drive away.

The main cities of Chania & Rethymno are a 30 & 40 minute journey respectively by car, and Chania Airport is about 40 minutes drive away.
