In the village of Maza, 800m from the villa, there is a traditional tavern where you can taste homemade Cretan dishes. The village of Vrisses is about 3km away and provides all extra amenities such as shops, bakeries and schools. The nearest beach is in Georgioupoli about 8 km away. Chania is at 37 km away, Rethymno at 34 km away and the airport is at 41 km.
