All the Villas are two-storey (maisonettes) with unlimited view to the mountains, valley and the sea. They are exclusively built in stone and wood to match their surroundings. Each apartment is built at a different level due to the ground’s steep slope with some common areas (pool, barbecue, gym, café), as well as private courtyards, verandas, or balconies and quiet corners. Some homes even have access to the roof terrace (roof garden).

All the homes have big wooden main entrances with traditional rustic locks and big iron keys. They are decorated with many small folklore objects and antiques. All incorporate the same comforts and luxury, although they differ in size and layout.

Blue villa – Mantzourana

One double bedroom maisonette of 55 m2 which may accommodate up to 3 persons. Its areas are made up of four different levels. It comprises a balcony and one covered veranda. It is dated since the end of 1800, while in the past served as a store room for grains, oil, and wine. One of its areas was part of the wine press which does not exist now.

Orange villa – Diktamos

One double bedroom maisonette of 65 m2 with the possibility to easily accommodate up to 4 persons. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and its two walls is natural rock under the soil. It incorporates one independent courtyard and has access to the roof, with a magnificent panoramic view to the entire area and the pool. This dwelling was built in 1913 and the ground floor in the past was used as a barn-stable, while the first floor as a weave room and elementary school.

Green villa – Faskomilia

One double bedroom maisonette of 75 m2, easily accommodating up to 4 persons. The characteristics of this dwelling are the traditional wooden stove, the large chimney and the well, all found inside the house. It incorporates an indoor veranda, a large independent courtyard and has access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view. It was initially built in the mid 1800’s and was used as a kitchen-dining room while inside the well, they kept cheese products and wine due to the temperature difference.

Purple villa – Malotira

One double bedroom, newly built maisonette of 85 m2 easily accommodating up to 4 persons. It is built with traditional materials and in a traditional manner and totally blends in with the natural environment. Incorporates one indoor veranda with amazing view to the valley of Apokoronas and the Cretan Sea, one independent courtyard and has private access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view to the entire area.

Red villa – Fliskouni

One double bedroom, new maisonette of 90 m2, in total harmony with the area and the oldest buildings. Has one double bedroom and may accommodate up to 4 persons. The only one with canted tile roof in the bedroom, located higher than all the other dwellings. It incorporates two indoor verandas with amazing pool, mountain, valley, sea and pool view.

• Apart from the fireplace, all dwellings have air-conditioning on both floors and hot water from solar and electric water heaters.

Apokoronas Prefecture – for many, the most beautiful area of Crete- is well known for its hospitable inhabitants, its beautiful traditional villages, and the unique natural beauty. It is worth visiting all of them, since each one has its own colour, traditions, folkways, and history. The closest beach to the property is Kalyves, located at a distance of 10 km, while you may also visit the nearby beaches of Almyrida and Kyani Akti, all with crystal clear blue waters and awarded with blue flags.  Alternatively, you may visit Georgioupolis, marvel its biotope and the unique Kournas lake . Visiting the evergreen Stylos valley with the famous springs, is another way to keep you cool and excited for a whole day.   Samonas cave and the monumental minoan aged olive trees or ancient city of Aptera and Itzedin castle are only few walking or driving minutes away from the property.

Around the whole prefecture of Apokoronas you will come across hospitable coffee houses and beautiful small taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine.

Ideal spot for those who are looking for relaxation, in a safe and quiet area in nature, but at the same time not far away from big cities and busy touristic areas in case you would like a city break or nightlife.  Surrounded by mountains, but with sea view, you can find almost everything in a short distance. Nice beaches, rivers and lake, caves, gorges, archaeological sites, authentic character villages, traditional tavernas, but big city with modern facilities, shops, bars and restaurants as well.
